MPRE Dates and Schedule 2025
To register for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPREĀ®) you must complete the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBEĀ®) registration process, schedule your exam date with Pearson VUE, and pay the exam fee before the registration deadline.
The NCBE does not accept late applications, so schedule your exam and pay the fee as soon as possible. Below, we outline important dates, deadlines, fees, and instructions on how to schedule your MPRE appointment.
MPRE Exam Dates
The NCBE administers the MPRE 3 times per year at Pearson VUE testing centers across the country. Dates and deadlines for 2024 administrations are as follows:

Scheduling, Rescheduling, or Canceling Your MPRE Examination
While the MPRE is developed, administered, and graded by the NCBE, Pearson VUE handles the registration process. The scheduling process is detailed below.
Scheduling process
Note that the earlier you register for your MPRE, the more options you'll have for your exam location. Follow these steps to schedule your MPRE exam:
- Log into or create an NCBE Account
- Apply for MPRE test accommodations if necessary
- Select MPRE Registration and follow instructions to request authorization
- Receive an authorization to test email from Pearson VUE within 24 hours
- Search for available testing centers (MPRE is not administered at every Pearson VUE testing center)
- Schedule an appointment to test with Pearson VUE and pay the requisite fees
- Receive confirmation of your exam appointment and payment from Pearson VUE within 48 hours
If you don't receive an email confirmation from Pearson VUE within 24 hours, check your spam folder or contact NCBE MPRE Registration services. You can also contact Pearson VUE for questions concerning testing centers.
Rescheduling Process
You can reschedule your MPRE date for a different testing facility and time but not for a different administration. You must reschedule your exam at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment by logging into your Pearson VUE account or calling 888-205-1855 and paying a $25 fee.
Cancellation Process
You may cancel your scheduled exam by calling 888-205-1855 or via your Pearson VUE account at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. You'll receive a refund of $80 but must pay a fee of $25. You cannot transfer your registration to another individual.
